This group exhibition highlights the work of over 20 artists whose creativity and practice have shaped and inspired a new generation of makers in New Hampshire and beyond. Just as the field of art is vast, so too are the ways in which artists spark inspiration—whether through teaching, hosting community events, leading workshops, participating in organizations, fostering shared studio spaces, or offering mentorship. The artists featured here have been a source of inspiration and influence.

One day workshop taught by artist and painter Ann Trainor Domingue, designed to assist artists to find your personal subjects, inclinations and approaches through a guided process to help uncover your unique marks.

New artwork inspired by coastal New England and in particular Portsmouth. In-person opening first Friday in November, 5-8pm.

12-15 new works on display at the gallery; coastal-inspired semi-abstract paintings. Part of a continuing series of relationship paintings that utilize iconic images of fishermen and women involved in daily work and life at the waterfront.

In conjunction with the exhibition, Romare Bearden: A Black Odyssey, explore how creating shapes out of various papers, combining, arranging and then gluing them to a supporting surface can help you simplify your ideas and tell your story. Join artist Ann Trainor Domingue as she leads you on your own odyssey, exploring your history through the art of paint and collage. You are encouraged to bring your own photo images and use them in the artwork you will create.
