I enjoyed sorting through all the detail that I could have included in this little painting to find the variety of line and pattern shown here. I have always loved a casual line treatment rather than architecturally correct linework. The sketch feel combined with unmistakable elements of the local working dock area still shows a specific location without every little detail being present in the painting. I may try others with even less on my next iterations...
