I enjoy weaving colors over one another to create secondary and tertiary color combinations. The wooded background of this piece does just that. Lighter blues represent the areas where the sky peeks through highlighting tree trunks while allowing a bit of the distant sky to show through as the couple walk through the woods. The left side color bars represent one's colorful tapestry of life experiences all stacked on top of one another continuing on.
