This small format piece incorporates a tree branch motif frequently found in my work. The undertexture helps to bring surface interest and bits a fabrics show through in the final painting. The flower at the left is actually a bit of fabric that I was intending on painting over until I realized it helped to tell a bit of a story about the movement of one season to another.
