Seagulls as you might know are almost never still. Motion is their life so as an artist it can be a real challenge to sketch. I tend to approach a subject like this as a collage of images. Beginning one and then adding another then going back and working on another when the bird goes into that pose again. A brain bender for sure but still fun.
