This painting began as play with a plaster's tool used for smoothing and adding texture on walls. I've used an old serrated edge trowel to scrape through wet paint creating parallel lines suggesting flowing waterfall. I then used other scrapers to add more variations, both crisp and scruffy, to add more visual interest to this acrylic painting. As a fan of fabric patterns I chose to add some fun color circles to contrast with the grays. Hope you enjoy this view.
