This imagined view is based on a design I did just a couple of years ago as a small painting. I challenged myself to go large in this 36x36 while keeping the surface interesting and imagery complex in this large format. I intentionally used only one of each core element-- couple, boat, sun, tree, seascape--to keep the composition uncluttered, and quiet. As the couple looks out together lost in thought.
