This painting took a journey on the way to finish. It began with collaged handmade papers, added stamping, and patterns. I then took quite some time to figure how to pull something together that made an interesting composition. In this case it wasn't until I defined the cup shapes that things came together. Not clear to me how I arrived at this but this abstracted-style is something I am experimenting with lately.
