While exploring working in a more abstract manner, I began this piece with nothing particular in mind. Only the things and ideas I have had in my head for many years. I was curious what may rise to the top of my awareness while doing this piece. It developed into this movement of linear pieces all coalescing toward the center, becoming something like a boat or waves, or reflections, with stitches... Or whatever my collectors may think is fine too. The seafoam green color was my favorite color in the large Crayola box of crayons. Funny, because I hardly ever use that color in my work. Note to self...
