Random drippy circles of acrylic paint were the beginnings of this painting. I experimented with layering latex blockout fluid and the rough edge pattern is the result after removing the dried latex. Its this experimenting that is unexpected and forces me to think differently about my next move. I chose to bring my fisherman and a girl, and their dog :) back into this environment and this painting is the result. I'm liking the combination of rough and refined. Sort of like life.
