I've been attracted to the evening time with low light, shadows of natural and artificial light, and how light focuses me on particular details. This is a dark overall value painting about an imagined seascape and the natural lighting occuring at a time of day where detail is hard to determine yet the large shapes in this design bring a strong indication of what I'm asking a viewer to notice. Or not.
