I am again making a painting using my left arm as I have had surgery on my right rotator cuff. (Getting better by the day, thankfully.) I began this painting with no set design in mind except to have fun with color on the under layers and then determine an overall design at a later stage. I have used imagery similar to those I have used in past work, yet am painting with my non-dominant left arm. I have allowed for less precise edges and inaccurate lines to bring a freshness to this imagined coastal scape.
