Overflowing

AS I embark on a series of abstract paintings using the foundations of art I have always used, it feels quite different to apply them this different way. Color, line, and design are all apparent but are now seen in a non-realistic way. Instead of having recognizable imagery I am exploring the elements for their sake, how I make decisions based on a previous mark or color. Very freeing and exciting. More to come.
