I seem to be working with the passage of time and how to visualize it in my recent work. This piece is playful using circular shapes and patterns as though each is a different day or night, connected together by time. The couple in the doorway may be considering what tomorrow may bring or what has happened in days gone by. I've worked to give this piece a feeling of a weatherworn atmosphere, not worn out, just a nostalgic feeling.
