This painting is a good example of my need to modify a piece that has come back to me after having been at various galleries. It just didn't resonate with me any longer as I have moved along in my art practice. I began the renovation by covering over areas that I didn't care for and keeping areas that still held promise. Most of the light tone is new, covering areas but leaving touches of sparkle. I reworked the lobster boat shapes and fishermen. Hope you enjoy this wholesale reno job. :)
