I've been working with segmented shapes as though they were swatches of fabric affixed to the canvas. This has created a way to work with a grid without the rigidness of a grid. Again I am using the motifs I frequently use while muting some color and letting more warm tones take precedence. The story is still there though. What do you think about this one?
