Framed. I love the varied shapes found on working waterfronts in New England. I have taken great liberties with the exactness of shapes of the boat, figure, dock perspective etc. I do this to focus on how these things fit together in a puzzle-like fashion. I also love the scruffiness of the weatherworn but still functional surfaces. My inexact line drawing heightens that feeling as I playfully build layers of color to give a sense of sparkle and energy I find when I am at the coast. Hope you enjoy.
