A new approach to my village series. I've worked to have the people more prominent and minimized the architectural features to develop the series in a shape based way. The areas interlock and are all seen as part of the whole. Perspective is not accurate either as I play with the balance of shapes of human and non-human forms. Color palette is also a departure from earlier villages as it is less intense in order to bring a quieter sense to the overall imagery. (Based on Portsmouth, NH)
