I've used this iconic motif in several pieces and this time around I have incorporated a fisherwoman. I've seen so many women working at the nearby waterfront areas that I thought it was time. Probably past time. I enjoy working with the idea of how the shape of the rowboat, person, and fish all fit together each helping or protecting the other, or providing food in the circle of life.
