Night After Night

This painting was completed alongside Day After Day in 2022. It began as an abstract with no real idea of where I was going with it, a series of concentric circles smeared with various scraping tools then dried. I then went to my sketchbook to find the simple design motif I have used here with the arcs of light and reflection. that's all it took to bring this idea to finish.
