Finding the One

I'm exploring an abstract direction in my work and this piece is one which demonstrates a shift in direction. I've been working with themes revolving around togetherness and sharing coastal life and this painting explores it a bit further. The large shapes are suggesting an environment of sky and land, time of day or night, various kinds of light sources along with surface textures and patterns that are part of a story.
